Bedbug Control

Bedbugs are the most challenging pest that the pest control professional deals with. Bedbugs can live up to one and a half years without feeding. So, vacating a location is not a practicable solution. Bedbugs also are reclusive. Preferring to bide their time in cracks and crevices. They are commonly found along the seams and within the folds of mattresses, within and underneath box springs, along and underneath bed frames and head boards, behind baseboards, under rugs and carpets, within wall outlets, behind molding, within folds of curtains, within furniture, even within the recess of screw heads. Here they will remain until it is time to feed, which comes only once every two weeks. They also have shown an ability to develop resistance to pesticides. This resistance is what has led to the resurgence of a once nearly eliminated pest nationally. Older pesticides such as DDT that wiped out the bedbug are no longer effective.  These factors require the pest control professional to remain up to date on the latest products and techniques to stay ahead of an ever evolving pest.

As a means to this end, our bed bug treatment is composed of two separate services. Pricing quotes for bed bug treatments are for each service.  Each of these applications involves two main products with two different modes of action for a total of four different modes of action within a complete treatment. That is four different ways of eliminating bed bugs. We warranty our bed bug treatments for ninety-days after the completion of the second application, which must be completed within 21 days of the initial application. If the second application is not completed within 21 days of the initial, there is no warranty. An application performed after the 21 day window has lapsed would be considered a new initial application and not a second application. If a live bed bug is presented within the 90 day warranty period an additional application will be performed at no additional charge.
